How to Join

We are looking for swimmers aged seven to twelve, who have achieved ASA silver or gold awards. If you have not yet achieved these but are working towards them or are able to swim 400m freestyle without stopping you are welcome to come for a trial with the club during a normal training session. You will be seen by a qualified coach who will assess your ability and either offer you a place in the club or provide advice if you have not yet reached the required standard.

Rob Bryan – Head Coach

New swimmers usually train two to three times a week.

When you first join the club you will not need any kit, but as you progress through the club your coach will advise you what kit you will need to buy.

For everyday training you need a chlorine-resistant swimsuit (without legs for girls) and jammers or trunks for boys.

If you are over twelve years old, you are welcome to come for a trial, but please be aware you will be expected to achieve North Midlands times in your first 6 months. Please contact us to discuss what is required.

If you are already a swimmer with another club or have moved to the area and would like to join the club please contact us.
